1976: The Beginning

The story of Bolamas began in 1976 with the establishment of PT Parimas in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. The company started as a small family business founded by Mr. Untung Sutjipto and his wife in their modest home. In the early days, production capacity was very limited, reaching only around 20 kilograms of noodles per day—less than a single bag of wheat flour, which typically weighs 25 kilograms. Every batch of noodles was carefully handmade, reflecting the founders' dedication, passion, and commitment to quality from the very beginning.

The first product introduced to the market was Parimas Noodle. These noodles were shaped into rounded portions by hand and sun-dried during the day, following traditional production methods. This handmade noodle is still produced today, as many loyal customers continue to appreciate its authentic taste and traditional texture.

Over time, Parimas Noodle was warmly welcomed by the market and received positive feedback from consumers. Its delicious taste, natural aroma, tender yet chewy texture, and its ability to remain firm without becoming overly soft when cooked became the key qualities that distinguished Parimas Noodle. This strong foundation later became the beginning of the growth of the Bolamas brand, which continues to develop and reach more consumers today.

1995: The Modern Era

The small company eventually grew beyond its capacity to produce noodles manually. In 1995, Parimas invested in modern automated machinery to increase production. Despite this advancement, the company's philosophy remained unchanged: to produce high-quality and healthy noodles.

"When you produce food, make sure it is something you would proudly serve
to your own children." Mr. Untung Sutjipto

The first product produced using the modern automated machinery was branded Bola Mas. The product quickly became a great success in the market. It was sold not only locally in Pasuruan, but also across Java Island and other regions of Indonesia. The Bola Mas logo, featuring a world globe, was designed by Mr. Untung Sutjipto himself. It represents his dream that one day people around the world would recognize and choose to enjoy these noodles.

2015: Innovation & Health Focus

In 2015, CV Omieku Food was established as a subsidiary company of PT. Parimas Boga Raya. The mission of this new company is to produce noodles for the modern market with export-quality products. Omieku Food launched its first healthier choice product, called "Omieku Healthy Noodle." This special noodle is made from super premium flour with the addition of konjac flour as the main ingredient. Konjac flour has many positive benefits: it promotes weight loss due to its high fiber content, helps with cholesterol and diabetes management, supports better digestion, and promotes healthier skin. What makes Omieku Healthy Noodle even more special is that it contains zero chemicals. It is made only from flour and konjac flour, using a specialized production process that is completely chemical-free.
